Venue

The workshop takes place at an authentic site for the theme, since Rostock is famous for red-clinker-bricked houses. The workshop is held at the Great Hall (Aula) of the University of Rostock, Universitätsplatz 1, D-18051 Rostock (see map).

Travel Assistance

Rostock is located at the Baltic Sea and can be reached by frequent trains from Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt (airports TXL, HAM, FRA).
From Berlin or Hamburg you can also take a rented car or a shuttle service (approx. € 40, Shuttle Service #1: +49(0)381-4 05 94 60, Shuttle Service #2: +49(0)381-2 01 56 33) to Rostock. Additionally, direct flights are available from Hamburg, Munich, Dortmund and some other German cities to Rostock-Laage airport (RLG). From the airport, take a taxi or an Airport call-bus to Rostock.
