EIT ICT Labs: The Interaction Toolkit


Description of Research Project

The TIK (Interaction Toolkit) EIT Project delivers re-usable tools in 3 areas:

  1. Foresight studies and catalogues of technologies
  2. Methods of design and evaluation
  3. Interaction techniques and frameworks packaged mostly as code

This will create a living repository of some of key enabling interaction technologies and methods in Smart Spaces to accelerate development in other activities, carrier projects or spin-offs.

In this activity HIIS laboratory is responsible for the task on Distributed User Interfaces, which aims to the Refinement, application, and validation of a tool for dynamic distribution of user interfaces across multiple devices.
