The contribution of a formal approach to task modelling: the
ConcurTaskTrees example
Engineering task models requires powerful, flexible and easy to interpret notations for supporting design and evaluation of interactive applications. ConcurTaskTrees aims to solve this problem. The scope of this paper is to explain the motivations and to give a description of the main features of this notation. It is also discussed how it can be used, where it has been used, and how it can contribute to improve the current practise of task modelling.
