The goal of EUD-NET is promoting end-user development principles and practices through a mix of outreach activities, which include workshops and participation in major international meetings. The purposes of the workshops are: 

To review the progress of the network and the state of the deliverables

To exchange methods, best practice and experiences

To establish close connections between academic and industrial actors in order to proceed from theory to practice, going from abstract methodologies and criteria to real prototypes and products

The first EUD-NET workshop was held on 23 and 24 September at C.N.R. Research Area in Pisa (Italy).

The second EUD-NET workshop took place at Philips Research in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) on  16 and 17 January 2003.

The last EUD-NET workshop was held at Schloss Birlinghoven in Sankt Augustin (Germany) on 6 and 7 October 2003

The EUD-NET Review meeting took place at European Commission head quarters in Brussels (Belgium) on Thursday November 6th, 2003.
