 Theme

The workshop will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on diverse approaches to the design of interactive systems. This year, the focus is on advances in interactive systems that augment or rely on particular perceptual abilities of users - either as individuals (e.g. haptic feedback, visualisation), or as communities of users (e.g. shared environments made possible through the world wide web).

The workshop consists of invited talks, refereed papers, and working group discussions summarised and reported in the proceedings, which are published by Springer as part of the Eurographics Workshop series.

 Invited speakers
bulletM. Srinivasan - MIT, U.S.A
bulletM. Hollier - BT, U.K.
 Position papers

Attendees of the workshop are invited to submit short position papers that address questions raised in the working group scenarios. These papers will be included in the delegate's proceedings. Position papers will also be reviewed by members of the programme committee, and a number of these will be selected for inclusion in the proceedings along with the full papers and working group reports.

The deadline for the receipt of position papers is Wednesday 19th May.

Papers should be no more than 6 pages of A4. They should be sent in Postscript or PDF format to David Duke, email duke@cs.york.ac.uk
